      Mission Statement:


      The mission of the Richmond Drive Elementary Library Media Center is to create an environment in which all students are empowered to become lifelong learners and readers, as well as effective users of information and ideas. 

      At RDES, we believe:

      * Students are the center of all that we do.

      * The library is the hub of the school and the place where teachers and students come to have information needs met.

      * The school librarian works to ·¬ÇÑÊÓƵ all curriculum needs of teachers and students.

      * Students are always welcome and encouraged to visit the library.

      *Help from families and communities is necessary and important, as we are all partners in the education of our children.
