Medical Homebound
·¬ÇÑÊÓƵ Hill School ·¬ÇÑÊÓƵ believes that the school environment is the best place for a child to grow both academically and socially, even for those with significant physical or mental health concerns. When a student is absent from school, they miss important classroom instruction and social experiences.
The ·¬ÇÑÊÓƵ Hill School ·¬ÇÑÊÓƵ Medical Homebound service is intended for students who are unable to attend school for a defined period of time due to an acute or recurring/chronic medical issue. A medical provider determines the need for Homebound services. A Homebound placement cannot be considered an instructional placement, as it is not meant to be long-term.
The four page Medical Homebound packet is available to parents at their student's home school, by the school administrator. This packet must be completed, signed and submitted in a timely manner, as a Homebound placement cannot be retroacted prior to the date completed and signed by the medical provider.
